While doing a shake down trip in my daughter Dawn’s RV (Vintage 1980’s) we camped at a lovely state park in Tennessee (Warrior’s Path State Park in Kingsport, TN). I was a very short stay, but we did get a chance to explore the park. We found this isolated beach and spent a morning writing, drawing and enjoying the quiet. I did sketch this scene, but did painting from the photograph. It came together fairly quickly however and I was happy in the results. (Guess I was on a roll….)
