Upon obtaining a bachelor's of fine arts in graphic design from the University of Tennessee, I followed the bright lights to Tampa, Florida. With my creative ambition at the forefront, I worked in the print industry, and spent 5 years developing the art department of two multimedia companies. When I felt like I knew the business well, I struck out on my own and helped to create successful Internet strategies for start-ups in the Tampa and Silicon Valley, areas.

I have an artist's eye and a business mind and can create a complete package —from logo design to business planning to Internet marketing. Working in the past as project manager for start-ups and running a freelance design business of my own, I know first hand the process involved in turning an idea into a reality.

My strength? I successfully design for a wide range of clients. I can create a logo for a biotechnology company or design a Web site for a cosmetics line (and somehow I enjoy both). I might drive people crazy, though, with my obsessive organization.

My personal coffee philosophy?
Nothing beats the comfort of a steaming cup of strong coffee—except my sturdy classic white Crate and Barrel coffee mugs that hold it.
