Foremost a painter and trained artist, I am the detail person – the "plugger". My style? Fluid and organic – Since I've spent many years learning the rules, I've earned the right to break them.
In the past I've been an artist for all occasions – I’ve created technical illustration for geological surveys and logos for businesses and organizations, accepted commissions (from buildings to pets – oil paintings to pen & ink), redesigned magazines, developed corporate identity pieces, and generated a slew of advertising and marketing materials. I've also worked as a print shop manager and have hands-on experience in typesetting, layout, illustration and camera work.
My strength? My extensive experience as a graphic artist in the print industry enables me to know production as well as good design. It's one thing to design a beautiful piece – it’s quite another to be able to print it affordably.
