Final paint out of the season. Scene near the “Castle” overlooking Asheville. Very cold day and late for the season, with color just starting. Worked for about an hour on location, but then did major rework in studio. My attention was caught by the red of the small tree, the stones and the distant mountain. Did I mention it was cold? About like our first paint out of the season! To see first impression, before I dragged it back to studio, go to Asheville Urban Landscape Painter’s Gallery.
