This pastel was done during the 1st paint out of the season with the Asheville Urban Landscape Painters. This paint out also included a demonstration, which occur once a month, presented by Cheryl Keefer. I was able to do most of the painting in the park, with just a few adjustments in the studio. My biggest concern was the rapid movement of the shadow across the rock. My second concern was for my freezing feet!
