For many years a friend, from Charlotte, would come up and we’d go leaf peeping to get photo references for her paintings. I’ve just now gone back and pulled out some for my own work. This is a close up of one such photo. I wanted to capture the clouds and the mountains together. Here in the Blue Ridge the seasons are just awesome.
